Before choosing a single material or sensor, we mapped the complete arc of Salah — eleven recognizable stages from the silent intention of Niyyah, through the seven core movements, to the closing testimony, greeting and remembrance. That full sequence, not a generic fitness sensor, set every requirement that followed.

Validating movement recognition.
Rather than treating one pressure reading as proof, the system evaluates changes across the Salah sequence. Internal review focuses on transition order, ambiguous contact patterns, repeated movements and regression checks before a recognition update is released.

The mat doesn't work alone. Guidance, sensing and sound are designed as one connected loop, kept current after purchase — not four separate products bundled together.

Most Muslim apps teach. NoorConnect connects.
A typical prayer app can show what Ruku or Sujud should look like. It has no way to know whether you actually moved into that position. NoorConnect's sensing mat closes that loop.

The current app disclosure states that transmitted data is encrypted and is not shared with third parties for sale.
User deletion controls
Users can request deletion of personal data in accordance with the published privacy policy and app-store disclosure.

No. Where recognized practice differs, the relevant Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali views are reviewed and the product wording is scoped accordingly.
Does this page publish NoorConnect’s recognition algorithm?+
No. It explains the validation principles and product boundaries without disclosing proprietary thresholds, datasets or signal-processing methods.
How are corrections and scholar feedback handled?+
Feedback is logged against the affected instruction or term, reviewed for jurisprudential and language impact, and included only through a controlled content release.
What does NoorConnect not claim?+
NoorConnect is an educational and tracking aid. It does not replace qualified religious teaching, issue fatwas or determine whether a person’s Salah is accepted.
